Yesterday through a Blackberry Messenger exchange between a highly regarded female acquaintance of mine I was told "Thanks for the smiles. Appreciated."
You know when someone tells you something and you know its a routine or you know they really don't care, vis a vis 'How are you' or 'Bless you' followed by a Thank you...? Well this was NOT anything like that. Isn't it great when you know people mean what they are saying? Better yet when you do things and as a bi-product they make people feel good or appreciated?
This is exactly what it was! A simple conversation no one was trying to impress anyone, the simple and because remarks inspired smiles the person felt good and a simple thank you made ME feel awesome.
Simple gestures can make us feel so good and take so little effort... Lets create a simple gestures coalition...
