(Words)

Word(s)... A single distinct conceptual unit of language, comprising inflected and variant forms.

There are the hateful words those hurtful ones.  There are some spiteful and others just plain colorful.  They can be aimed at you or at me, at our friends or our family.  They can be complex and baffling or simple and humorous. There are words that lift us and some that drown us.  A lot maybe said with a few words and yet very little can be said with a lot of them.

Words are nouns, verbs, adjectives and pronouns.  They describe a rainbow of emotions.  When we're angry the simplest of them sufice, those are often formulated by four letters.  Should we be upbeat the most intricate of them cannot circumscribe our purest joy.

A word can make you feel alive and depending the language that same word came make you feel inanimate.  Two words can make you feel included (come here) and two words can seclude you (get out). Whence they are grouped they can call you to action.  A well regimented conglomerate of words can evoke prompt activity in what has been an undisciplined group, of people that is.  There words that prove the power of language.

With all this, there is one thing that makes words lose all their meaning.  Actions! Because a hateful act will always over shadow a kind word uttered.  An act of terror will invalidate the noblest of words.  All the same, a kind act will erase a mean word; a small considerate, thoughtful, helpful and understated act is more clearly audible that a spiteful word.

So "listen with your heart but judge with your mind."
