How are we to find "true love"
when most of us have yet to learn to love truly?
When we cowardly hide behind the
"I don't want to be hurt" pretext,
not understanding that
loving truly doesn't fathom such thought.
Finding true love isn't a magical instant of clarity,
that's fairy tale.
A true love isn't to be sought
because a true love isn't lost.
True love simply wanders abound until
it decides to come home again.
The fallacy that you will one day
find true love leads to emptiness;
true love is serendipitous
and we may only encounter it when
our journey through life,
is no longer selfish.
Thus,
loving truly is the embracing of your fear
and forging ahead with the understanding that loving truly,
is never an absolute or a constant, for we are not constants or absolutes. Loving truly is the acceptance of flaws, set backs and mistakes.
Loving truly is the journey within;
where we find our truest and most enlightened loving self,
through the gifting of ourselves.
Loving truly is living truly,
appreciating the moment you are in whether you hate it or love it.
because loving truly is learning from even the most trivial moment in life.
